Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots sounds like one thing and turns out to be another. It's a casual tap-and-match game built around spinning reels, but the real hook is the roster of little heroes you unlock as you line up symbols. Each character has a small animated intro and a goofy backstory, and collecting the full set became a surprisingly stubborn goal for me.
Controls are as simple as it gets — one big button to spin, a swipe to browse your collection, and a tidy menu for the daily quests. Everything happens on a single screen, which makes it the perfect thing to open while waiting for a kettle to boil. The animation work is the standout: symbols pop with a satisfying little bounce, and the hero reveals have real personality.
Where it earns its score is pacing. The game hands out new goals at a steady clip, so there's almost always a tiny reason to come back. It won't challenge your brain, and it isn't meant to, but as a relaxed collect-a-thon it's genuinely pleasant.
